This project involved a carefully considered addition to an existing home, designed to enhance lifestyle and create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. The focus was on delivering a new outdoor living space that provides year-round comfort, blending functionality with a retreat-like atmosphere.

Working closely with the client, we developed a design that reflects their vision of a private sanctuary while maximising the potential of the site. The new outdoor area extends the usable footprint of the home, offering flexibility for relaxation, entertaining, and everyday living. With attention to orientation, shading, and material selection, the space remains comfortable throughout the seasons, ensuring it can be enjoyed at any time of year.

A key feature of the project is the new pool and spa area, positioned to make the most of the available light and views while creating a central gathering point for family and friends. The pool design balances luxury with practicality, offering a refreshing escape during warmer months, while the integrated spa provides comfort and relaxation year-round. Together, these elements elevate the home’s lifestyle offering, transforming the backyard into a true retreat.
